Still no snow. I never thought I would care where the snow was if it didn't arrive.

But now it feels like there is something missing.
Where are the parkas? Boots? Cars that don't start? Toboggans? Icicles? Snowmen?
Walks and park visits are awesome, it just feels so strange in January.

There's some cold weather in the forecast in the next few days... I could go for a little bit of winter before spring arrives.

The lake isn't even frozen!!! It's funny how you want some snow. Snow can be a pain but when you don't get any by January, you miss it. By the way, I love Gavin's little blue shoes. And thanks for the photo. It is now my desktop photo.

Nope, not frozen! There is ice on it, but not even a full cover over the whole thing. When we were there we could hear it bending and cracking. We also saw tons of geese! Apparently they haven't felt the need to leave yet since it's so warm. In other news, it's snowing today. We'll have to get outside and enjoy it while it's here! Oh, and more on Gavin's blue shoes tomorrow. :)

I know what you mean. We FINALLY got snow 2 days ago and I kinda missed it! Why live in the midwest if you can't have a white Christmas?! lol
