Whenever it gets close to Christmas, I start craving Chocolate Crinkles. My mom must have always included them in her Christmas baking because it's something that happens every year for me! These are absolutely amazing.

Chocolate Crinkles

What you need:

1/4 cup butter or margarine
2 cups sugar
3 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
4 squares unsweetened chocolate
2 1/2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
icing sugar

How to make it:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Melt chocolate and combine with other ingredients. Add flour a bit at a time, it will get pretty hard to mix in the last bit of flour. Shape into 1 inch (or smaller, they grow quite a bit!) balls and roll in icing sugar. Bake on a greased cookie sheet for 6-8 minutes.
