April Fools

Happy April Fools! I figured I would share a little about our fun today...

First, when I woke up I wanted to find a trick to play on Gavin that wasn't mean and that he might understand/find funny. So I made some jello in a glass and  gave it to him as juice... but he caught on as soon as he saw it! I guess I'll have to try a little harder next year.

Then I found a text from my mom saying that she woke up early to sirens across the street and then found out someone was murdered in that house overnight. I was shocked and worried for her and called her to ask how she was doing... She just laughed her head off an said "April Fools!" Ugh!

And finally, we went to the university to return a library book and the pronghorn statue at the entrance to the library building had been yarn-bombed. How awesome is that?

Did you play any pranks or have any played on you?
What is the best April Fools trick you've heard of?

The jello in the glass is a great idea! I'm surprised he caught on so quick - but I guess I shouldn't underestimate that boy!

And that pronghorn statue looks fantastic! Haha! Someone really took their time and did an amazing job of it :)

Yeah, Gavin is just too clever... And I think multiple people did the statue, it was like everyone knitted a section and then they just stitched it all together on the spot. There were different shapes, colours and stitches used all over. Very cool!
