I first posted this recipe over a year ago with no photos. I made these the other day, but had a lot of fun with them (as in, I had homework to avoid). Quite a while back I got some of these really cool, silicone ice cube trays by Tovolo. I did my research and they are made of the exact same material as silicone baking products are, so I decided to try them out in the oven. They did just fine, except the outer cubes were done way sooner than the inner ones (duh!), but that was something I could work around. They came out as cute little cubes that I dressed up in a bunch of fun ways.
(my favourite was coating them in chocolate ganache with some cute confetti on top)
Here's the basic brownie recipe, what you add after that is up to you!
What you need:
3 squares Baker's unsweetened chocolate
1/2 cup butter or margarine
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup milk
4 eggs
1 1/3 cups flour
2 tsp vanilla
How to make it:
Preheat oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit. Melt butter and chocolate together. Add sugar, milk and eggs. Mix well then add vanilla & flour. Bake in a greased pan for 30-35 minutes.
PS - I love this out take from my brownie photo shoot....

Aha! You're into ganache now, are you?? Those look really cute. I used to have silicone ice cube trays in shapes. I should see if I still have them and give them to you for some shape variety.
