I know I have been a serious slacker on this blog lately, so I figured I would share some fun photos of where I have been. Since we have a week off for "reading week" we went home to visit family and friends for a few days. We hadn't seen our family for a month and a half, which is long enough, but when there are babies and toddlers in the family it is so long! So we had some great visits to say the least. It was my first time staying at my mom's new house and I loved it. We actually sat up until 3:30 a.m. one night just chatting, it was so great. Anyways, here's what we were busy doing:
Mason got a little carried away with temporary tattoos...
I got in some quality tummy time with my nephew...
And some quality time with my sister (behind the camera) and our two boys...
The boys had some naps together in the car....
Mason, Gavin and I played in the snow...
And got rosy cheeks...
We enjoyed Grandma Val's very high definition tv...
Gavin broke in a new storybook we bought for my sister's family...
Yes, broke in, as in, read it over and over...

Thanks, Mom! We had a great time too. When we got back to Lethbridge Gavin said "Go see Grandma Val?", nodding his head. It must be so strange to him that we can see you in the morning, be back here in the afternoon, and then don't see you again for a month!
And Tara, I loved their little car nap too. Every moment of those boys together is so special to me! I also can't wait until we can hang out all the time, having a nephew has really put the distance into perspective for me. I'm sure you have felt the same way since we first moved away with Gavin!
