Good Morning!
I noticed recently that my son's socks are all starting to seem either very small or very thin, so I bought him a bunch of new ones last night. Sadly, they have no grips on the bottom! This isn't a huge deal at our place (although Gavin has taken a few spills running through the kitchen), but most of our family in Regina have a lot more hard, slippery floors than we do and we'll be spending a couple weeks there over the holidays. Fortunately, I remembered this post I saw on I Am Momma Hear Me Roar a while back and it was PERFECT! I realize that hers look way better than mine, but I was happy spending 5 minutes to do 8 pairs of socks and have some less beautiful, yet equally functional socks. All you need is some dimensional fabric paint!
They work awesome and he kept looking at the bottom of his feet. I'd like to see how they do in the wash, but I doubt it will be a problem.
