A New Spin on an Old Classic

Good Morning!

Today is my step-mom's birthday and I made this gift for her this week. I don't think she reads my blog regularly, so hopefully she won't see this on here before it gets to her! We were at a craft sale last time I was in town and she saw some towels like these and suggested them as a birthday idea. These were always around in both my households growing up, so I was familiar with them, but I didn't have any on hand to use as a guide (and searching for them online was surprisingly difficult!). SO I just went for it.

The picture is kind of off because there is zero natural light in my kitchen. Oh well. I'm happy with how the towel turned out. Now that I have made one, I'll be able to make others in much less time. I was thinking of putting a tutorial together, would anyone be interested?

I love this idea! I have never seen one like this before and would love to know how it's done. I have seen them with the crocheted top but I must say, I really like this look better. I found your blog over on Craft-O-Maniac. Hope you have a great day!
Hugs,
Donna
