Kid Fun: pet for a day (or an hour)

Do you remember the days when all things creepy-crawly were completely fun and fascinating? 





I try my best to because bugs and worms and other weird critters can be so much fun. The other day Mason and Gavin adopted a caterpillar for a day. He lived in a jar with some sticks and leaves (with air holes in the top!) for a few hours then we sent him on his way. 

Gavin loved holding him and was very interested in how hungry he really was!
