Halloween

As a kid, I always loved decorating my mom's house for special occasions like halloween or christmas. It stopped mattering as I got older and even after Gavin was born it just wasn't a big deal - he didn't get it anyways.

But now he talks forever about all the fun decorations at daycare, so I decided to do a little decorating myself.

It was actually tons of fun! You can find the bat template here, and a tutorial for the spider web here.

[I discovered something interesting while putting up the spider web: you can use a glue gun to stick stuff on your walls (like yarn) that won't stick with sticky tack and will look ugly with tape. Make sure you test this before you go using it all over, but on my walls the glue sticks great, but pulls off easily without damaging the paint or leaving any marks behind!]

Fun!!!

I don't decorate my home for Halloween, and probably won't for Thanksgiving, but HELLO CHRISTMAS!

I love all your decorations. Seriously. It's all super cute.

You will probably end up decorating for all occasions now that you have Gavin enjoying it. Kids make it fun. And your creativity will make it easy.
