Where I've Been...

Good Morning!

I know the posts have been few and far between lately and they might continue to be for a while. I've got a bunch of projects on the go right now, so I thought I'd share a little bit of what I'm up to...

Here's a completed project! Last time I was in Regina my grandma brought me the clip part of a pair of clip-on earrings (she doesn't have piercings) and asked me to make her some new earrings. I took them home and this is what I came up with.

I've also been working on revamping this gliding chair. It's not old, we got it when Gavin was born, but it just wasn't working for us anymore. The colour of the wood and fabric never were awesome together, but you couldn't mix and match fabrics and wood finishes when we bought it. Also, the wood and fabric colours totally clashed with our living room now that we have a new couch. I'm almost done the painting on the chair and ottoman, but I'm planning on replacing the fabric too!

I didn't take an actual "before" photo, so I had to go through my pictures and find some with the chair in it! It's the chair on the left in the top photo.

I've also been collecting, filling, and repainting picture frames for a gallery wall! I've been really inspired by some of the ones I've seen online lately and we've had this gigantic wall space in the living room that has been begging to be filled since we moved in... 6 months ago.

And finally, I've been updating Gavin's photo albums. It had been a whole year since the last time I updated and I had to go back through all the work I had already done and take some pictures out. Two full photo albums for his first year of life was just way too much! I think I've gotten it down to a little under 600 photo for his first two years. Not bad, right? ;)

Oh, and did I mention I'm a full-time student? Haha, so I've been doing a little homework too [although maybe not as much as I should].
